This passion for our city comes directly from leadership. In the season opener Dunsinane, Marin Theatre Company produces the first US Company of this acclaimed sequel to Shakespeare’s Macbeth - this production’s partner is CTE Tamalpais High School, featuring four student professionals on stage and four student apprentices in back stage roles alongside nationally renowned professionals. Followed shortly after by August Wilson’s Two Trains Running, 2023 will launch with a new musical Justice by Lauren M. Gunderson, Bree Lowdermilk, and Kait Kerrigan, featuring the "firsts" of the Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sandra Day O’Connor, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ketanji Brown Jackson. Finishing the season is Where Did We Sit On The Bus? featuring Satya Chávez. The season ends with a new play festival, continuing the partnership with CTE Tam High.

There’s no need to travel south and fight the traffic and thick air for a glimpse of art, the clarity of Mill Valley clears the mind while Marin Theatre Company feeds the soul, allowing great art to resonate deeply for a fulfilling experience, a high end production, and community connection. It’s the best of everything our town has to offer with all the world class standards on display.
