City Council Meetings: Participate Online

As you know, there are a number of programs and gatherings being postponed or cancelled due to the Coronavirus. At this point, we are continuing to hold City Council meetings, so we can conduct essential business.

We wanted to share that there are many ways for you to watch and participate without physically attending the meeting. All of our meetings are streamed live and are also played back on your government channel of your cable provider.

For those of you who are limiting your attendance to public gatherings, we want to remind you that you can always submit written comments on an agenda item prior to the meeting.

How to watch the upcoming City Council meeting:

• Online*: www.cityofmillvalley.org/watchonline or https://cmcm.tv/watch
• Local television: Tune in to Comcast Channel 27 and AT&T Channel 99

How to provide comment:

• Before the meeting: email your comments to cityclerk@cityofmillvalley.org no later than 3 pm on the day of the City Council meeting and they will be forwarded to the City Council and included in the public record. Be sure to include the agenda item number you are addressing, as well as your full name and address.

• During the meeting: use the eComment Program www.cityofmillvalley.org/eComment

*Please note there is a 20 second delay when you view the livestream.

If you would like to support, oppose, or otherwise comment on a City Council agenda item, please consider sending in your comment rather than attending the meeting in person. All communication, whether it is a formal letter or a one-line informal email, is read by the City Council.

Finally, the City Council understands the importance of our public meetings in the careful consideration of important issues to the community. Items of significant public interest, if they are not essential to City operations, will be postponed until later in the year.
