Mill Valley Earth Awareness Month In April

April is Earth Awareness Month and there is a variety of events, art exhibits, lectures, workshops and outdoor activities in Mill Valley in which to learn, participate and celebrate.
Marin County Parks will be exhibiting, at the Mill Valley Community Center, Casual In Nature: "A Celebration of Motion-Sensor Wildlife Portraits" with a reception at the community center on April 7th from 5:30-7:30pm. The Community Center will host a City-Wide Clean-up Day Wednesday, April 15th where citizens and City of Mill Valley staff will join forces in beautifying our City. Meet at the Community Center Lobby at 10am. Clean-up will take place from 10-11:30am.
Our Volunteer Program is excited to host Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 25th from 10-2pm on the Downtown Plaza. Trash pick-up on Miller Avenue from 9-10am, Meet at Whole Foods Market. The main Volunteer Day Event takes place on the Mill Valley Downtown Plaza.
