To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and out of concern for the safety of staff as well as the public, the Mill Valley Public Library will CLOSE starting Monday, March 16th through Sunday, March 29th.

As soon as possible, we hope to make curbside pickup of holds available and are also investigating home delivery of holds. Our staff are still available to answer questions by phone (415-389-4292) and email. The Library also offers many digital resources that can be enjoyed without physically coming to the Library. Read eBooks and listen to eAudiobooks, check out eMagazines to read on your devices, bypass the New York Times's website paywall, stream video through Kanopy, and more. Find instructions on setup of these services here.

The best way to reduce the risk of becoming infected is to practice good hygiene:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
- Avoid touching your face.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- Get a flu shot to prevent flu, which has symptoms like novel coronavirus.
