📰 News we're reading
• S.F. just set a new October high tide record — by a wide margin (newsbreak.com) — Exceptionally high tides on Saturday flooded the northbound Highway 101 off-ramp and a Park and Ride in Mill Valley, briefly trapping at least one vehicle and disrupting local traffic. The surge, driven by El Niño and long-term sea level rise, set a new October tide record in San Francisco and triggered coastal flood advisories that could foreshadow more severe king tides this winter.
