Pruning Planned For DeSilva Island Eucalypts

Eucalypts at DeSilva Island will be pruned for view and safety from September 19-23, 2016 by Sonoma-Marin Arborists. Annual pruning of these mature eucalypts helps maintain treasured views of Richardson Bay for DeSilva Island residents and safety for pedestrians using the public shoreline path below. This work will be done outside of the bird-nesting season in accordance with the approved DeSilva Island Tree Management Plan that has been successful in maintaining the heronry since the homes were built in 2001.
