Westcore Properties Hires Jessica Smith as Vice President- Property Management

Westcore Properties hired real estate veteran Jessica Smith as Vice President – Property Management to fortify its Northern California team as Westcore continues to expand its acquisition and management activity in the region.

Smith oversees management of Westcore’s approximately 3.5 million-square-foot office and industrial portfolio in Northern California. Her duties include ensuring financial and operational efficiencies as well as assisting with property leasing and marketing. She also works closely with Westcore’s Bay Area Director of Acquisitions Peter Mette during and immediately after the acquisition process.

Smith is a certified Real Property Administer (RPA) who earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. She is a member of NAIOP and BOMA.

Previously, she spent 13 years at the RMR Group, a real estate management and advisory firm based in Boston, working on both the East Coast and West Coasts during her tenure there. Prior to that, she worked in corporate real estate at an East Coast technology firm.

Smith is also an advisor to Red Crow Equity Crowdfunding and is launching a non-profit with her daughter called Little Red Pen Project to encourage young girls, both within the foster system and without, to embrace and develop journaling skills as a healthy outlet for expressing their feelings.

Smith is a resident of Mill Valley in Marin County.
