The public is invited to attend a talk by artist Dick Zunkel on“Reflections and Vignettes”at the June 2 meeting of Golden Hills Art Association. Zunkel will demonstrate the advantages of vignette techniques to draw emphasis to the subject in his watercolor demonstration. He will also show how objects are reflected in still and moving water in acrylic.
Zunkel comes from a family of illustrators and writers. His formalart education was received at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., WingateCollege in North Carolina and at San Francisco Art Institute.
Zunkel has worked primarily as a landscape watercolorist until recently. His current work is more impressionistic and includes figures and portraiture.

The business portion of the meeting ends at 7:30 p.m. and Zunkel will begin his demonstration at 8 p.m.
