1 Teen Killed, 1 Teen Arrested Following Fight That Led To Stabbing In South Bay: Police
Police said they received several 911 calls reporting a fight involving several teenagers.
MILPITAS, CA – A 17-year-old boy was killed after a fight involving multiple teens Tuesday in Milpitas, police said.
At around 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Milpitas Police officers said they were dispatched to the area of the 240 block of Vienna Drive in response to multiple 911 calls reporting a fight involving several teens. Officers said they arrived in under three minutes after the initial dispatch.
Officers said they found a 17-year-old boy with stab wounds. The responding officers said they immediately began rendering emergency medical aid to the victim until the arrival of Milpitas Fire Department paramedics and other emergency medical personnel.

The boy was transported by ambulance to a local trauma center for advanced treatment. He died at the hospital, police said.

A teen boy was also injured during the fight, police said. This victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to a local hospital. He received treatment and has since been released, police said.
A 17-year-old suspect remained at the scene when officers arrived, and he was taken into custody, police said. He was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall, where he faces charges, including homicide and assault with a deadly weapon.
The area surrounding the 240 block of Vienna Drive was secured for several hours as crime scene investigators processed evidence and detectives interviewed witnesses.
The Milpitas Police Department said this was an isolated incident among the individuals involved. There is no ongoing threat or danger to the general public related to this event, police said.
