Join the on Saturday, October 23, for Make a Difference Day! Come one, come all to this fun-filled day packed with treats for the whole community. This event will take place from 10am to 4pm in the Great Mall Special Events Parking Lot, and will feature booths with information and demonstrations from several local organizations.
The Milpitas Fire Department will be giving out emergency information and the Milpitas Police Department will have a child fingerprinting and canine demonstration. The Lions Club will offer free blood pressure and diabetes blood testing and there will be opportunities for you to E-Recycle! Drop off your electronic waste: computers, printers, copiers, fax machines at the event. Other participating organizations include the and Second Harvest Food Bank, the , and several vendors with unique items to browse and buy.
