Man Stabbed To Death Near San Jose Hospital Is Identified
San Jose police have identified a man found dead of a fatal stabbing near a hospital early Sunday morning.

SAN JOSE - San Jose police have identified a man found dead of a fatal stabbing near a hospital early Sunday morning as 37-year-old Randy John Ruiz.
Officers responded at 4:18 a.m. to the 200 block of North Jackson Avenue on a report of a possible dead body across from Regional Medical Center of San Jose, according to police.
Officers found Ruiz, a San Jose resident, and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police did not initially release a possible cause of death in the case but said Thursday that the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office determined Ruiz died as a result of a stab wound.

No suspect information was immediately available in the case.
