Small Business Social Media Workshop In Milpitas Tuesday

MILPITAS, CA – Local business owners can learn how to improve their marketing on-line and increase their business relationships at a Small Business Social Media Workshop co-hosted by Senator Bob Wieckowski (D-Fremont) and The Silicon Valley Organization (SVO).

“This workshop will assist local business owners to develop the skills and techniques necessary to build a strong brand and raise their visibility on LinkedIn,” Wieckowski said. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and in a competitive environment being able to fully use these tools can help these companies grow.”

“Workshops like these provide our small business community with the vital resources needed to remain relevant in our 21st century economy,” said Matt Mahood, The Silicon Valley Organization President & CEO.

Attendees will learn how to optimize their LinkedIn profile, get noticed on LinkedIn and build and nourish relationships. The workshop is sponsored by Wieckowski, SVO, Aspira and the City of Milpitas. The event is free and open to the public, but a limited number of seats are available.
