• Mission Viejo football holds off Yorba Linda in Alpha League thriller (ocregister.com) — Mission Viejo High's football team edged Yorba Linda 27-26 thanks to two long touchdown runs by Jack Junker and a crucial late defensive stop on a two-point try. The Diablos, now 6-1, also benefited from strong special teams play, including a blocked extra point and two field goals. Mission Viejo next travels to face undefeated San Clemente in another key Alpha League matchup.

- My son has been temporarily caring for two spayed four-year old female long haired declawed cats that were left behind by a resident who moved out.
