The Bishop Alemany Girls Basketball team defeated Sacred Heart Cathedral of San Francisco on Friday 46-40, capturing the Division 3 State Title in front of over 800 Alemany students, faculty, staff, and parents. It is the first state championship for the Girls' team. The Lady Warriors finished the season with a 31-5 overall record, won Mission League, CIF Div 3AA, Div 3 So Cal Regional, and Div 3 State Championships. We are so proud of their accomplishments and the support of the Alemany community.
Bishop Alemany Academic Decathlon team wins California Division III Championship!
California State Academic Decathlon Championships were held in Sacramento on the 15th and 16th of March. The top 61 schools in the state competed against each other in three different divisions. Decathletes competed in 10 different subjects: art, economics, essay, interview, language and literature, mathematics, music, science, social science, and speech. In addition, each team competed in the Super Quiz Relay which was held in front of an audience at the Memorial Auditorium.

Alemany brought home 16 individual medals. Senior Jesse Randolph led all Division III scorers and captured the individual Gold medal for Honor students. She led the Alemany team by capturing six individual event medals: a Gold medal in science, a Silver Medal in Social Science and Art and two Bronze medals in Economics and Music.
Senior Frank Brady brought home one medal of each color, a Gold Medal in Art, a Silver Medal in Economics and a Bronze medal in Speech. Senior Jeremiah Prousalis earned a perfect score in speech winning the Gold medal and he added a Bronze medal in Science. Sophomore Mitchell Riek won a Gold medal in Interview with a perfect score and a Silver medal in Science. Junior Patrick Tran came home with Gold a medal in Speech and Nicolas Pixley won the Bronze in interview. Congratulations Alemany Warriors!
