Preschool Dance

For young children ages 3 through 6 this class is an introduction to ballet and tap. Children will learn basic ballet steps and terminology in a nurturing environment. Lots of imaginative exercises and positive reinforcement encourage young dancers to feel confident and expressive in their dancing. Basic positions and ballet steps will be taught to inspiring music. The tap portion of this class is always fun as little ones learn all about rhythm and counting to music as they discover all the magical sounds they can make with their own feet. Ballet and tap shoes are recommended but not required. This class is designed for boys and girls, and children can dress in their dance attire as desired.
