Have you been wondering what’s beyond the gates at the newly established Rosemont Preserve? Please take the opportunity to join us as native plant expert Beth Miles leads volunteers in a session to restore the natural habitat. We will focus on identifying and removing invasive plant species to allow room for the native flora to become reestablished.
We will meet Saturday, December 29 from 9:00am until 11:00am for a few hours of fresh mountain air -- and a chance to work off those holiday treats! Wear sturdy shoes, comfortable clothes and garden gloves (long pants and sleeves are recommended.) If you have a shovel, pickaxe, loppers or digging bar, please bring them along.
The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, please park at Two Strike Park.
