"From the age of 16 I began writing the world as I knew it. One chord after the other I brought my lyrics to life with 6 strings and 2 lungs, which were graciously passed down from mother to daughter. When I wasn’t preoccupied with softball, I found myself searching out places to play. Open mics were, and still are, my best friend. Although timid and raw I wanted the world to hear my voice, my words. While playing College softball at Utah State University I began picking up my own shows at small venues and coffee houses, mainly in Utah. After two years of battling between my love for the game and my love for the stage I finally hung up my cleats, and headed to West Virginia; There I teamed up with Josh Odell, from Attempted Studios, and created my first album, “Where am I”. I Picked up a day job as a barista at the Local Coffee house, The Wild Bean, and took the night shift as a bartender at Ruby Tuesday to cover the cost of recording hours. After finishing my album and saving up enough money for a plane ticket I headed to California to make something out of what I had. Now here I am… 21, Broke again, and living my dream." -Tina Feruaon
