Montrose Storywalk - Otto the Book Bear

The Montrose

Storywalk is your opportunity to watch a story about Otto the Book Bear unfold
as you take a stroll along Honolulu Avenue, from November 5 – December 2, 2013.
Look for 15 sign posts each with a page from the delightful storybook,

Otto the Book Bear by Katie Cleminson. Otto lives in a book and comes to life when no one is looking. His book is taken away while he is off exploring and so he sets out to find a new home. Can you guess where he will find his new home?

Finish your Storywalk
at the Montrose Library and continue the fun with Otto the Book Bear family
activities during the Montrose Library’s open hours, Monday and Tuesday, 1 – 8 pm, Wednesday and Thursday, 11 am – 6 pm, Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm. You can draw your own adventures for Otto and vote for your favorite bear.

Bears have visited Glendale in the past, particularly in the foothill areas. Glendale’s 2014 Rose Float, Let’s Be Neighbors, even features a California Black Bear and other native wild animals that call Glendale home.

The Montrose Library
is located at 2465 Honolulu Avenue, Montrose, CA 91020. For more information
