101 a Mess Following Multi-Vehicle Crash

A multi-vehicle traffic collision is blocking two lanes of U.S. Highway 101 on the border of Palo Alto and Mountain View this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision between a motorcycle and as many as four other vehicles was reported at 9:49 a.m., the CHP said.

An ambulance was called to the scene but the CHP could not immediately confirm the number or extent of the injuries.

At least one person suffered a broken leg, according to the CHP.
