Update: Caltrain Service Resumes After Train Hits Vehicle

A northbound train struck a vehicle this afternoon at a crossing in Burlingame, according to Caltrain.
Just before 4:30 p.m., Caltrain tweeted about the incident, which occurred at Broadway.

The vehicle left the scene after being struck, according to Caltrain officials. There is no damage to the gate at the crossing where the incident happened, Caltrain officials said.
Trains will be held in both directions as they reach Burlingame until investigators clear the scene, Caltrain officials said.
There are no reports of any injuries.
