Mountain View Is Fine-Tuning North Bayshore Precise Plan

Public comments are being taken though Sept. 19.

The City of Mountain View is developing a North Bayshore Precise Plan to implement the 2030 General Plan’s policy direction for this area. The 2030 General Plan identifies North Bayshore as a special place that protects and stewards natural habitat and species in the area and envisions new highly sustainable and innovative commercial development.

The Precise Plan will contain development standards, such as setbacks and height limits; allowed land use uses; architectural design guidelines; and identifies how new public improvements are funded. The City will also prepare an Environmental Impact Report to disclose environmental information and potentially significant impacts resulting from implementation of the Precise Plan.
