4 Injured In Winters Fire Near Napa County; Blaze Almost Contained
Breaking: Four firefighters and inmates battling the blaze suffered minor injuries, Cal Fire reported Wednesday morning.

YOLO COUNTY, CA -- The Winters Fire started burning last week in Yolo County near the border with Napa County is 95 percent contained, Cal Fire officials said Wednesday morning.
The fire that started at state Highway 128 and Pleasant View Road around 12:40 p.m. last Thursday has burned 2,269 acres and initially closed Highway 128 from Napa County to Yolo County.
All road closures have been lifted and evacuation orders are no longer on place, Cal Fire officials said.

Four firefighters and inmates battling the blaze suffered minor injuries -- three cases of heat-related exhaustion and a knee injury -- and no structures were destroyed, Cal Fire officials said.

About 200 personnel are mopping up interior hot spots and patrolling containment lines Wednesday morning, according to Cal Fire.
