Map Shows Napa County Properties Destroyed, Damaged In Wildfires
BREAKING: The Atlas Fire has destroyed at least 445 residences, 19 commercial properties and 277 other structures, according to Cal Fire.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — As Cal Fire and the Napa County Sheriff's Office lifted some mandatory evacuations Friday, the county announced that a map showing the status of homes, businesses and other structures impacted in the Atlas, Tubbs and Nuns fires can now be accessed online.
The Atlas Fire was 87-percent contained Friday, while the Nuns Fire was at 85-percent containment and the Tubbs Fire at 93-percent containment.
At 2 p.m., mandatory evacuations were lifted for Napa County residents of Soda Canyon Road from Silverado Trail to the end of Soda Canyon Road; Redwood Road from Mount Veeder Road to 4411 Redwood Road; and Atlas Peak Road from Westgate Drive to 2777 Atlas Peak Road.

Affected property owners returning to previously evacuated areas are advised that a red-tag placard means the building should not be entered except as authorized in writing by Napa County's chief building official.
A yellow-tag placard will note the type of damage to a building and the restrictions in place for continued occupancy.

The Napa County Damage Assessment Map released Friday has a search function detailing whether a building has been red-tagged or yellow-tagged.
According to the latest information from Cal Fire, the Atlas Fire alone has destroyed 445 residences, 19 commercial properties and 277 other structures and left 77 residences and 11 commercial structures damaged.
The Central LNU Complex fires, including the Nuns and Tubbs in both Napa and Sonoma counties, have destroyed 6,873 structures and damaged 381 others.

The Napa Sheriff’s Office has increased patrols in damaged areas, county officials said.
Monday and Wednesday of next week, Napa County and various nonprofits are hosting the County and Community Upvalley Resource Fair for those impacted by the recent fires. The fair will take place from 3-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23 and again on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 901 Washington St., in Calistoga. Services at the fair include mental health, benefits and employment assistance, various nonprofits and more.
