Another Brush Fire Burns 10 Acres At Hansen Dam
The cause of the brush fire remains under investigation.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A brush fire scorched 10 acres near the Hansen Dam Tuesday night before firefighters were able to contain the blaze.
No one was injured in the fire, and no structures were threatened.
The blaze broke out just before 6:30 p.m. The Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters was to respond to a half-acre fire burning in heavy to medium brush, according to the department's Margaret Stewart.

The fire was stoked by 10 to 15 mph winds and grew first to six acres, then to between eight and 10 acres by 7:40 p.m.
Firefighters managed to stop the fire's progress at 10 acres by 8:57 p.m., Stewart said.

"Crews will remain on scene through the night conducting mop up operations to ensure no hot spots remain," said Stewart.
The cause of the fire was under investigation. The area around the damn has caught fire repeatedly including in April and in March.
