One Dead, One Jailed After Motorcycle Crash Near Dillon Beach
The accident was near Valley Ford Franklin School Road.

One person died and another was arrested after a motorcycle crashed near the Dillon Beach area Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded around 4:30 p.m. to a report of a motorcycle that had crashed on Dillon Beach and Valley Ford Franklin School roads in an unincorporated area of Marin County, CHP Officer Damian Cistaro said. A passenger on the motorcycle died at the scene and Cistaro said the driver was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver was booked in county jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Cistaro said. He said he did not know the identity of the decedent.

No roads were blocked as of around 7:30 p.m., Cistaro said.
