Alex Road Skatepark Fundraiser For Oceanside Skater Shaun Ross
The Alex Road Skatepark Community is hosting a diaper drive and fundraiser on Saturday, April 24 for Shaun Ross after he was hit by a car.
OCEANSIDE, CA — The Alex Road Skatepark Community is asking Oceansider's to come out this Saturday and show support for local skate legend Shaun Ross. The group is hosting a diaper drive and fundraiser for Shaun after he was hit by a car while skating in south O.
Shaun has been in the ICU at a San Diego hospital after suffering a major head injury. Shaun and his wife Shannon have 5 children and another on the way.
"Shaun is a huge part of our city and park community", says Josh Carson, Park Leader and spokesman for the Alex Road Skatepark Community. "We hope to see everyone Saturday starting at noon. After dark, we have a video premiere in the big bowl off of a projector for the community and then the parks being lit up with generators and lights for the skate for Shaun session."
