Camp Pendleton Brush Fire Creates Large Smoke Plume
Smoke from the Oak Fire on Camp Pendleton is visible around San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties.
CAMP PENDLETON, CA — A brush fire continues to burn inside Camp Pendleton Wednesday morning, with smoke visible as far as Fallbrook, Orange County and Riverside County.
The fire had burned 140 acres with 35 percent containment by Wednesday morning, fire officials said.
The blaze is limited to the base, with no threat posed to the surrounding community, North County Fire said on Twitter.

There are currently no large incidents in southwest Riverside County, fire officials confirmed.

If you are in South Orange County and see smoke to the South it is a fire on Camp Pendleton well with in the perimeter of the base. No threat to Orange County
