Discovery Isle in Oceanside Donates More Than 20 Pairs of Pajamas
Students held a pajama drive in support of local nonprofit Casa de Amparo
Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Oceanside recently donated more than 20 pairs of pajamas to local nonprofit Casa de Amparo. Throughout December, students worked together to collect pajamas in all sizes to benefit children and teens in need in the community. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping others, especially during the holiday season.
Casa de Amparo is recognized as a leader in treating and preventing child abuse and neglect in San Diego County and beyond, with locations in Oceanside and San Marcos. The nonprofit organization annually serves over 1,000 Casa Kids, from prenatal to 25 years old, as well as over 950 families through five integrated programs that promote healing, growth and healthy relationships.
