Man Killed In Rollover Crash In Oceanside

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

OCEANSIDE, CA – A man was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Oceanside, police said Wednesday.

The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 3500 block of Mission Avenue near state Route 76, Oceanside police Sgt. Rick Davis said.

A man, believed to be 22 years old, was driving a 2000 Toyota Echo westbound on Mission Avenue when it slammed into the center median for unknown reasons and flipped several times, Davis said.

The man, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene, Davis said.

Oceanside police officers were investigating the crash.
