ORANGE COUNTY, CA — For a second time in less than a month, a child climbed out of a boat on Tiana's Bayou Adventure, park officials told TMZ.
The incident happened on July 4 at the popular ride formerly themed as Splash Mountain.
According to TMZ, a cast member monitoring the ride on close-circuit television saw a child climb out of the log flume and immediately halted the ride.
No injuries were reported.
This marks the second incident at the well-known ride located in the Anaheim theme park in less than a month.
The initial incident happened at around 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, when the 13-year-old guest exited the ride and triggered a cast member to immediately stop the attraction, park officials said.
According to park officials, the ride remained closed while the teen was assessed and taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
The boy was taken to a local hospital and evaluated before being released, according to The Orange County Register.
According to the report, one Reddit user said the boy sustained minor cuts and scrapes, but managed to avoid any serious injuries.
