Man Charged With Murder After Shooting At Apartment Complex: Brea Police

BREA, CA — One man is dead and another is charged with murder after a shooting at a Brea apartment complex, according to police.

Authorities received numerous calls of gunshots around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of North Tamarack Avenue, police said. Officers found the victim, 21-year-old Brea resident Logan Kahmar, who died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.

Sidney Clarke, 28, of Brea, was located and detained Thursday in connection with the killing, and he has since been charged with murder, police said. He was booked into jail and is not eligible for bail, according to police.
