• Detective Hit By Car During Pacifica Retail Theft Spree: Police (patch.com) — Pacifica residents are being urged to share tips after a local police detective was hit by a car while trying to stop two women suspected in an organized retail theft spree at both Pacifica Safeway stores and a Pacifica Walgreens. One suspect from San Francisco has been arrested on felony theft and probation violation charges, while another from Antioch remains wanted for assault on a peace officer and multiple theft counts.
