Aurelia Foundation to Hold Gala to Benefit Creative Steps Program
Gala will benefit Creative Steps, a day program in Santa Monica for disabled young adults.
A Gala to benefit “Creative Steps,” the new day program for adults with disabilities in Santa Monica, will take place on November 15, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Del Rey Yacht Club in Marina del Rey. There will be dinner, dancing, and a silent auction.
The Aurelia Foundation was created by parents of special-needs individuals to establish programs to encourage discovery and development of their unique talents and abilities as they leave school and enter community life. Their mission is to create state-of-the-art adult day programs for young adults with moderately severe to extremely severe disabilities. The programs offer enriching learning experiences and a curriculum based on the individual learning styles and abilities of each young adult.
