Crime Blotter: Grand Theft Auto, Burglary and Vandalism

These are the crimes reported for the week of Oct. 30 and Nov. 5

Grand Theft Auto

Between 6 p.m. Oct. 30 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 31, the suspect took victim's vehicle from a driveway at the 1300 of Longworth Drive.

Burglary/Theft from a Motor Vehicle

Between 3 p.m. Oct. 13 and 9 a.m. Oct. 14, the suspect entered victim’s unlocked vehicle at the 15300 block McKendree and took a garage door opener.

Between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Nov. 3, the suspect smashed a window on victim's vehicle around Sunset and Temescal Canyon, and took a gym bag, purse and money.

Between 11 a.m. Oct. 26 and 6 p.m. Oct. 29, the suspect took a license plate from victim's vehicle at the 900 block of Embury Street.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon

At 9 a.m. on Oct. 25, at the 1400 block of Allenford, the suspect (possibly a student) stabbed victim's thumb with a pencil.

Burglary

At 2 a.m. on Oct. 30, the suspect opened a window on victim's home at the 700 block Hartzell Street, but possibly fled because of victim's barking dog.

Grand Theft

At 2:10 a.m. Oct. 19. The suspects, a 40- to 50-year-old, 5-foot-10 white man with gray hair weighing approximately 190 to 200 pounds with a tattoo on his calves and a blonde, 30- to 40-year-old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 white woman weighing approximately 150 to 160 pounds, took victim's compressor and other electronic equipment at the 17700 block of Posetano Road and fled the area in a white Ford pick-up truck.

Between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 16 and 8 a.m. Oct. 18, the suspect took victim's jewelry possibly while picking up donated furniture at the 17100 block of Palisades Circle.

Petty Theft

Between 5:30 a.m. Oct. 26 and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 27, the suspect entered victim's gated yard at the 200 block of W. Channel Road and took a bicycle.

Vandalism

At 11:35 a.m. Nov. 1, the suspect (identified) drove his vehicle into victim's garage door at the 16600 block of Calle Arbolada.

Between 8 p.m. Nov. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 4, the suspect smashed a window on victim's vehicle at the 16100 block Alcima Avenue.
