The Pacific Palisades Woman's Club hosts Jon Winokur, author of The Portable Curmudgeon, The Big Book of Irony, and, most recently, The Garner Files, at its annual Author's Tea on Tuesday, May 8 at 1:30 p.m. A book-signing session will follow Winokur's talk, as will a traditional high-tea. All proceeds from this event (tickets are $10) benefit the Braille Institute.
