Firefighters today rescued a hiker injured in the Pacific Palisades area.The rescuers were sent to the area of Temescal Canyon Road and and Sunset Boulevard shortly after 10 a.m., Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.The hiker, described only as a female, was taken to a hospital in serious condition, Scott said.The circumstances of how she was injured were not immediately clear. --City News Service
