Suspect Throws Carton into Traffic, Hits a Person Inside a Vehicle

Between 1:20 a.m. and 1:40 a.m. Feb. 23, a thief stole money from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Swarthmore.

At 5:20 p.m. Feb. 25, a suspect threw a carton into a vehicle near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Temescal Canyon. The carton struck a person in the vehicle. The suspect was described as a man with black hair, between 160-180 pounds and around 40 years old.

Between 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27, someone broke into a house in the 800 block of Las Lomas. Police said the suspect forced open a window. It was unknown if any property was actually stolen.
