Two Hikers Rescued in Topanga Canyon
One hiker was injured and flown to the hospital in serious condition.

One hiker was injured Saturday and another was hoisted to safety in Topanga, a city fire official said.
The first hiker was reported to be stranded at 4:41 p.m. at 330 N. Topanga Canyon Boulevard, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A helicopter hoist operation was used to bring the hiker to safety, Scott said.

The second hiker, a woman with an extremity injury, was also hoisted into a helicopter and taken to a hospital in serious condition, Scott said.
