Wasserman Voted Western League Baseball MVP

Eight Palihi players make the first team, two make the second; Jeffers is Pitcher of the Year.

With the Palisades High varsity baseball team having won its eighth consecutive Western League title this season, it is hardly a surprise that the All-League team is full of Dolphins.

Palisades High sophomore has been named co-Most Valuable Player along with Westchester senior Robert Gsellman.

Senior , who started the Dolphins' playoff game at San Fernando last week, has been named Pitcher of the Year and several teammates have also been voted to the first team.

The other Palisades High players making the list are sophomore pitcher , junior catcher , senior first baseman , outfielders and and sophomore utility player .

Second-team selections were senior pitcher and sophomore shortstop .

The Dolphins fnished 16-13 and lost to San Fernando 11-5 in the first round of the City Section Division I playoffs.
