Petaluma Arrest Yields Meth, Magic Mushrooms, Ecstasy & Pot: Police
The suspect from Sonoma County was arrested Thursday near Motel 6, officials said.

PETALUMA, CA — A 45-year-old man was arrested Thursday night on drug-related charges near Motel 6 in Petaluma after a patrol officer stopped the individual, according to authorities.
Stephen Mills, of Cazadero in unincorporated Sonoma County, was arrested after he allegedly was found with various narcotics and drug paraphernalia, including methamphetamine, ecstacy, a large amount of marijuana that appeared to be packaged for sale and a pound of psilocybin mushrooms, also known as "magic mushrooms," the Petaluma Police Department said.
The patrol officer stopped and spoke with the suspect at 11:36 p.m., which led to "cause" for a vheicle search, police said.

Mills was booked into the Sonoma County Jail for multiple offenses, including suspicion of a controlled substance for sale for the mushrooms, the department said.
