
OAKLAND, CA — A small earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.5 was reported in the Oakland hills this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was reported at 11:07 a.m., was centered near state Highway 13 and Joaquin Miller Road and had a depth of 6.7 kilometers, USGS officials said.
No damage has been reported from the small quake.
