Hearing Gunshots? Shooter Training At Pinole School
No need to dial 911. A regional active shooter response training is underway at Pinole Valley High School, police said.
PINOLE, CA — Fear not if seeing police activity or hearing gunshots today near Pinole Valley High School in Pinole.
The Pinole Police Department is hosting a regional active-shooter response training Thursday at the school at 2900 Pinole Valley Road through 5 p.m.
"If you are in the area, you might see police activity and/or hear gunshots as part of the scenario training," the department said. "Please do not call to report the activity."

Pinole police thanked the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center for partnering with the training opportunity for police officers throughout the region.
