Woman Found Dead In Hercules Identified
She was found near Third Street and Sharon Avenue early Friday morning.

HERCULES, CA — A woman found dead near railroad tracks in Hercules Friday morning was identified today by Contra Costa County Coroner's officials.
Marjorie King, 35, was found dead early Friday morning near Third Street and Sharon Avenue in Hercules.
Union Pacific officials got a report at about 6:30 a.m. that a body was found, Jacobs said.
"We are not aware of any Union Pacific trains being there at that time, but we are working with Amtrak, the coroner and local law enforcement to find out what happened," Jacobs added.

Amtrak trains stopped at 5:53 a.m. when company officials were informed that a person had been found dead nearby, Amtrak spokeswoman Vernae Graham said.
The tracks were re-opened at 8:15 a.m., she said.
