Their fight is part of a broader Bay Area and statewide debate over how data centers affect water, power costs, the environment, and local politics, with new state bills and local moratoriums now on the table. 
• Several of the West's top 2028 and 2029 recruits set to hit road for Week One of college football (on3.com) — A Pittsburg High School running back, Isaiah Harrison, is among several top 2028 and 2029 West Coast recruits visiting college campuses for Week One of the football season. He'll be in Berkeley as Cal hosts UCLA, joining other standout prospects from across California and the Northwest who are getting an early look at potential future programs.
