Coroner IDs Men Killed In Pleasanton Crash

The men were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the car after the crash.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau has identified Jeremi Hanks, 22, of Oakland and Joshua Nampraseut, 21, as the men killed in an early Friday morning crash in Pleasanton, according to the Alameda County Coroner's Bureau.

The crash occurred at 2:16 a.m. on southbound Interstate Highway 680, north of Bernal Avenue, the California Highway Patrol said last week. Officers said a 1996 Lexus sedan was traveling approximately 100 miles per hour when the vehicle collided into the rear of a semi-truck.

Hanks and Nampraseut were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the car. The semi-truck driver was not injured.
