Man Suspected of Possessing Child Porn Arrested, Pleasanton Police Say

PLEASANTON, CA — A Pleasanton man suspected of possessing hundreds of pornographic videos and photos of girls under the age of 18 was arrested Tuesday, police officials said. Investigators arrested 50-year-old Charles Fredrick Seiter after serving a search warrant in his Pleasanton home.

“Forensic examinations of electronic devices inside the residence discovered hundreds of videos and photographs depicting females obviously under the age of 18 conducting explicit sexual acts and in various stages of undress,” police said in a statement.

According to police, Seiter admitted to possessing the illegal pornography during an interview with detectives. Seiter was arrested on multiple charges and was booked into the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
