• Pleasanton: Mid-Autumn Moon Festival – Sept. 19 (news24-680.com) — Pleasanton families can head to Pacific Pearl on Saturday, Sept. 19, for a free Mid-Autumn Moon Festival featuring a lion dance, martial arts, kids' crafts, and more from 1–3 p.m. The celebration near 85 Degrees Bakery Cafe on Stoneridge Drive encourages neighbors to arrive early, enjoy activities while supplies last, and explore the center's diverse eateries and shops.
   

• Fire near BART Coliseum station causes major delay (mercurynews.com) — BART riders using the Dublin/Pleasanton line faced major delays after a fire and related PG&E power outage near Coliseum station disrupted Berryessa Line service Saturday evening. Service was halted between Fruitvale and Bay Fair, with AC Transit buses, including Route 28 from Dublin/Pleasanton to Bay Fair, stepping in to help Pleasanton-area commuters reach their destinations.
   

• Fàilte Air Ais: Scottish Highland Games Return to Alameda County for 160th Year (thepioneeronline.com) — Pleasanton hosted the 160th Scottish Highland Gathering and Games at the Alameda County Fairgrounds over Labor Day weekend, filling the grounds with caber tossing, bagpipes, and clan tartans. Visitors enjoyed heavy athletics, Celtic music, and classic cars as the long-running Bay Area tradition marked 32 years based in Pleasanton.
