From Paella to a French Kiss and Beyond

Weather reports call for a cloudy weekend in San Diego county. You can take advantage of the cooler weather and get out! There are only two more weekends left until the unofficial end of summer, so milk them for all you can.

If it's a romantic date you're looking for, you could head over to Schwaesdall Winery for paella or to Escondido for a concert full of different types of music.

A Ramona craft store will hold two classes.

Head west to Poway for a craft market—who knows, you might find some early Christmas presents. Travel to the Del Mar Fairgrounds for some food-truck fun and a concert by Devo, where you might sing some ironic lyrics after the horse races.

• Why go: See Devo in action and in concert at the fairgrounds after the race.

• Why go: Sift through traditional and artisan crafts at the Boardwalk Craft Market, which is now being held the first and third Saturday of every month!

• Why go: Choose from more than 45 gourmet food trucks—there’s everything from kebabs to grilled cheese, crepes to burgers.
