US Flag Retirement Ceremony - 10th Annual

United States Flag Retirement Ceremony
Flag Day, June 14, 2015 ~ (Dusk) 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
In honor of Flag Day, the American Legion Post 862 and Boy Scout Troop 623 will be retiring worn and/or unserviceable U.S. flags during a flag ceremony on Sunday, June 14, 2015. The ceremony will begin at dusk (approximately 7:30 p.m.) by City Hall located at 22112 El Paseo adjacent to Central Park. The flag retiring ceremony is held to properly destroy, by burning, worn, damaged or otherwise unserviceable American flags in a dignified manner. The community is encouraged to participate in this honored tradition.
