Hangar 24 Craft Brewery of Redlands Touts Debut of 'Essence' in 22 oz Bottles

The brewery's Local Fields series is comprised of six specialty beers each brewed once per year featuring locally-sourced ingredients, a Hangar 24 spokeswoman said.

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery of Redlands plans to release Local Fields: Essence in 22-ounce bottles, a spokeswoman for the brewery recently announced.

The Local Fields beers are brewed seasonally and feature distinct flavor combinations, according to Hangar 24 spokeswoman Kerry Roush.

"The brewery's June release of Essence reveals a Double IPA brewed with navel oranges, blood oranges and grapefruit all grown in Hangar 24’s hometown of Redlands, CA," Roush said in her announcement.

The Local Fields series is named for the brewery's use of local crops and for nearby air fields which will be represented in each of the series' beer labels, Roush said.

"Essence will debut at Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, 1710 Sessums Drive, Redlands, on Saturday June 2, beginning at 11 a.m.," Roush said. "A very limited amount of signed and numbered prints of the Essence label illustration will also be available for purchase at the brewery on the same day."

Hangar 24 recently announced their Local Fields winter release Warmer received a at the 2012 World Beer Cup in San Diego. Warmer is brewed with spruce from the San Bernardino Mountains and will next be released in December.
